A building that carries in it not only the destinies of some people but also a piece of history is the symbol of permanence.

The Iosif Keber house is an important point on the tourist map of Târgu-Jiului, from the stylistic perspective of the Romanian-style construction designed by the architect Iulius Doppelreiter, and above all because it belonged to the well-known painter from Gorje Iosif Keber who, of course, left his mark on the paintings that decorate the interior of the house.

The building began to be built in 1932, on 11 June 1848 street, being equipped on the first floor with a workshop with a skylight in the roof.
